We’re baaaack!
Presented by After Hours Pediatrics, Boo at the Zoo is back, and we hope you’re ready for a howling good time at the Zoo and trick-or-treating, too! We welcome you to eat, drink, and be scary as we turn our Zoo into a menagerie macabre for one day only. Lift your spirits with fun education activities, a craft and pumpkin-painting enrichment station, boo-riffic games and more!
This fun family event is a New Mexico BioPark Society fundraiser in support of the ABQ BioPark, so we invite you to come out and have a wicked good time for a ghoul-ishly good cause!
To guarantee the ultimate guest experience, we will sell timed tickets to keep crowd size manageable. Purchase timed tickets now, and your little ones will be goblin up candy on a brew-tiful day at Boo at the Zoo.
Boo at the Zoo includes activities and experiences for the whole family!
Trick-or-Treating in Zoo Central
Take your ghouls and goblins by the hand and stop by our multiple vendor booths along our Trick-or-Treat Trail! We promise more treats than tricks.
Haunted Habitats
Zookeepers become “Boo-keepers” for the day, as they transform select exhibits into spine-chilling spaces.
If they got it, they’ll haunt it!
Photo Opportunities
Get candid with your favorite characters! Pose with a princess! Snap a pic with Star Wars characters! You never know who else will be there for your photography pleasure!
Animal Enrichment
Animals love Howl-o-ween! Help create treats our Zoo residents will enjoy throughout Halloween week! From painting a pumpkin to blinging out a bag, these items will be squished, stomped or torn into as part of their enrichment (all items are animal safe and approved by vets)!
Scare-ousel
Scary music and devilish decorations transform our carousel into the Scare-ousel!
